Selling your home? Avoid doing the following

In preparation for potential buyers coming to a property selling clients ask me for advice.

Here are a few things to AVOID doing

  • Having personal photos on display, they make it difficult for the buyers to see your home as theirs
  • Having jewelry or other valuable items on display
  • Avoid video surveillance such as a nanny cam without a warning sign to visitors
  • Avoid having medications (controlled substances) left out anywhere in the home
  • Avoid personal documents or papers being left out put them in a hidden, safe place
  • Avoid being present when potential buyer’s arrive or are leaving, leave it up to the buyer’s agent to be with the buyers

I have lots more to share in terms of advice. If you would like to learn more about how I serve my clients in buying and selling real estate in the Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows area please contact me here to book a time for an introductory free consultation.

Once we meet you get your own personal copy of the special buyers or seller guide books I created that help you become more informed about todays more complex real estate buying or selling journey. Knowledge is power.

Sincerely,

David Hennessey
